Maggie Stansfield

Maggie qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2001 from Keele University and started her career in the NHS. Having worked within many specialities, Maggie has specialised in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, and now continues to work in the NHS as well as in Private Practice.

Maggie’s approach includes manual therapy and joint mobilisations where appropriate, soft tissue work and Trigger Point work, strengthening and stability work, stretching and strengthening, posture correction, as well as advice, education and self-management in order to optimise recovery. Taping and ultrasound is also used when indicated.

In addition Maggie is accredited by APPI in ‘Pilates for Low Back Pain’, and ‘Pre and Post-natal Pilates’.

Maggie is also experienced with Respiratory Physiotherapy and is able to treat people with chronic lung conditions benefitting from manual techniques to aid chest clearance. Please get in touch to discuss your requirements.
