Head Massage has been practised in India for thousands of years. Indian Head Massage initially concentrated on the head alone, but nowadays the neck shoulders and arms have been included to deal with the stresses and strains of modern day life. Generally a base oil, such as Grapeseed or Almond oil, is used, though in some cases talc or cream can also be applied, with the addition of an essential oil if required. Many problems can be helped by Indian Head Massage, varying from sinus problems, headaches and migraines, to eyestrain and stress. A treatment helps to relax and ease the muscles, and to emotionally uplift the patient.
